The Bicester Hive will grow Bumble Creatives into a welcoming, collaborative community hub where creativity, wellbeing and connection come together.
Our vision is for a visible and accessible place where people can take part in creative wellbeing activities, meet others, find support and discover opportunities within their community. It will bring together the work already developing across Bicester while creating space for local practitioners, artists, organisations and community groups to contribute their own skills and ideas.
The B Hive will provide:
The B Hive is growing through community, collaboration and people who believe in what we're building. Whether you can offer funding, skills, resources, partnerships or simply help spread the word, we'd love to hear from you.

The B Hive is already beginning to take shape.
Through Bumble Creatives, we are delivering creative wellbeing activity across Bicester with children, young people, adults and families, from Creative Minds and community family workshops to Creative Connections, inclusive sessions with Bicester Community Support Service and activity at Elmsbrook.
Alongside this, we are developing opportunities around Arts Award, creative learning, therapeutic support, community events and collaborative projects, while building relationships with local artists, organisations, schools, health and wellbeing partners and community groups.
We have also been developing the partnerships, referral relationships and practical infrastructure needed for a future hub, while working with local stakeholders to explore suitable affordable premises.
A permanent home would bring these different strands together, creating greater consistency and visibility, more opportunities for collaboration, and a place where creativity, wellbeing, learning and community connection can sit alongside one another.

The B Hive isn't intended to be a space where Bumble Creatives does everything.
Our aim is to create a collaborative hub where local organisations, creative practitioners, health and wellbeing partners and community groups can contribute to a varied programme shaped around the needs and strengths of Bicester.
A blended model of grant funding, commissioned programmes, partnerships, affordable community activity and carefully selected earned income will help the B Hive remain accessible while developing greater long-term sustainability.

Bicester is growing, and we believe its creative and community infrastructure needs to grow alongside it.
Accessible creative spaces can offer a gentle route into community life for people experiencing isolation, low confidence, additional needs or changes in their health or circumstances. They can also give people somewhere simply to meet, make, learn and belong.
The B Hive builds on what is already happening rather than starting from scratch: established programmes, trusted relationships, local partnerships and a growing community around the work.

We continue to explore opportunities for an affordable permanent home within Bicester and welcome conversations with organisations, practitioners, businesses and local people interested in being part of its development.
