Creative Minds is a small, welcoming creative group for young people aged 13–18.
Our current group includes young people who are in school and young people who aren't. Some are confident coming into a group and others find new people, new places or social situations really difficult. There's no expectation to be chatty, confident or even particularly “good at art” you can join in at your own pace.
We use art, making and creativity as something to do together. We try different things, follow people's interests and give young people plenty of say in what happens next. Sometimes we work on our own things alongside each other; sometimes we make something together.
Creative Minds is an inclusive space and welcomes LGBTQ+ and neurodivergent young people.
The group is facilitated by Nicolette, a Therapeutic Counsellor and Arts Practitioner, alongside Andrew and Elliot, our experienced volunteers.
It's somewhere to make things, meet people and belong...
Creative Minds is kindly funded by the Unlock Futures Fund from Bicester Village.
