Creative Minds is for young people aged 12-16, aims to help them overcome the mental health issues they have experienced, which are multiple and complex, including anxiety, low self-esteem, inability to socialise, bullying, gender identity, and experience of ill health and abuse. Using the arts, meditation and mindfulness we will create opportunities for connection and calm.
Facilitated by Nicolette, a Therapeutic Counsellor and Arts Practitioner, and seasoned volunteers Andrew and Elliot, participants will use their creativity to explore and enhance wellbeing, make friends and build on their wellbeing capacities.
Creative Minds is kindly funded by the Unlock Futures Fund from Bicester Village.
